Obituary of Cindy M Adams

Cindy Marie Adams was born on November 26, 1984, to Rodney and Rita (Simons) Adams in Shenandoah, Iowa. Cindy passed away on April 29, 2023, at UNMC after she battled many obstacles, even 230 surgeries.  She couldn’t overcome this sickness. She was raised in Clarinda with her brother Rodney Jr and graduated from Clarinda High School in 2003.

Cindy was born with Spina bifida, and after her many surgeries was wheelchair bound at last.  She didn’t let her disability stop her in any way, she was a fighter.  She was a big follower of the fire department calls.

Cindy’s pride and joy was her daughter Bristol, they did everything together.  They would go to fairs, fun parks, racing and more.  She loved Bingo, Nascar, and Embroidering.  She even taught Bristol how to embroider.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Lois Adams, and James and Shirley Graham.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Bristol, her parents Rodney and Rita Adams, brother Rodney (Anna) Adams Jr.; nieces, Jasmine and Taylor Adams, nephew, Seth Adams, uncle, Neil Henke, and aunt, Gloria Brown.

She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
