I have so many fond memories of Juanita, Bob and the family from my years living in Clarinda. Their kindness and generosity meant so much to me as a young, impressionable adult. I appreciate so much what they did for me and I will cherish those memories always. Love you all.

Juanita was a one of a kind soul. My memories of her and Bob go back to when I was in grade school. They were good friends with my parents Glade and Dixie Booher. We spent many Saturday nights at their house in Clarinda watching them playing cards. I also remember going on camping trips at Lake of Three Fires. When they moved to the farm outside of New Market we spent time there too. There was always so much laughter and love and those are the memories that will stay in my heart forever. She had the most wonderful laugh. She will be missed dearly but she will never be forgotten.
I was so lucky to have seen her just a few days before she passed. I got to see her smile and got the best hug ever. That's the most precious memory and I will cherish it forever.

My sister Juanita was an amazing person. She started me out in life by bringing me home from my birth hospital in Maryville, Missouri and gave me my name. After several weeks of caring for me, she handed me off to my birth mother (Amy). Juanita always watched out for me and I confided in her extensive knowledge of many aspects of life. I will miss you and your abundant love of life. You unselfishly shared your love and kindness with so many people and I was lucky enough to have you as my Sis! Love you and will always contain your love in my heart.

Where do I start? If my memory serves, Bob & Juanita told me one time that when I was a baby, they played cards with my mom and they put Ronnie and me in the same playpen. But when my foster brother Bill Emerson and I moved to Clarinda about 1977 and lived a few different places, we ended up joining the Gray Circus. LOL. At the time ther was Debbie and Mike and 2 babies, David and Donna. And their baby Jason and Diane dating Bill Robertson, Ronnie lived there. I lived there. Bill Emerson lived there the cousins, Frankie and Kaye. And I remember when John and Mary came. Bob and juanita's love rescued them. The time I lived in Clarinda was the best time of my life and bob and juanita and their love was the best of those memories. If I start reminiscing, this will turn into a book. With love and the peace of Jesus to all.

My Grandma would light up a room as soon as she entered. I know this sounds cliche, but she was the glue that held us all together. Our family will never be the same, as you can't imagine a world without her in it. Until we meet again.
